"Sunnyview has been great to MJ, and he continues to get better and better every day," she said. "It just amazes me how strong he is during all of this." She did a quick Facetime with MJ, and NewsChannel 13 told him there's an entire community cheering him on. "Thanks," he said. Jona spends a lot of time by her son's side. MJ was injured after one of the bullets from a drive by shooting went into his house in Troy last month and hit him while he was in the living room, sweeping and doing chores. Police are still looking for the gunman.
