Published on: Sunday, July 04, 2021 By: Bernama Text Size: KUCHING: Sarawak wants the assessment on the transition into Phase Two of the Movement Control under the National Recovery Plan (PPN) to be based on the Covid-19 situation in the respective districts as Sarawak is a big state, said Deputy Chief Minister Datuk Amar Douglas Uggah Embas. "We want to request the federal government to assess Sarawak based on the Covid-19 situation and performance in each district rather than (assessment on) the state as a whole. "(This is because) Sarawak is a very big state, as big as Peninsular Malaysia,” he said in a statement today.
