And, as disastrous and terrible as this scandal was. What trump did to get himself impeached the first time is basically forgotten now but it was really terrible. But in equal measure to how terrible it was it was also ridiculous and stupid and hilarious. And so, that story is the story of the film. Any way it starts at 9 00. We have a normal show for you this hour. Lots of news to get to. I have a couple of really good guests i want to talk to you. We have some stories that are developing live as we speak. It was hilarious to see the mafia, king mens and oligarchs interacting with these politicians. We were all the president s putzs. Thats how i was recruited to Dig Up Dirt on the bidens. No guardrail, no oversight. Its right out of a thriller. Its a mission impossible, mission stupid, i dont know which one but maybe both. Parnas is a key player. Know nothing about him. This wasnt a normal presidency. I betrayed ukraine, i betrayed america. I just hope one day i can say im sorry. I hope one Day Hunter Biden can really forgive me. Hunter. Thank you for indulging me. All right. So heres where we are. Vice president Kamala Harris has just wrapped up a big rally in Swing State wisconsin tonight. This is just moments ago. Earlier today she was in Swing State georgia doing yet more big campaign events. She also did a really splashy campaign events. P one of the students that was recently shot in that horrific School Shooting in georgia she was there last night at that event with her mom. Both of them spoke very emotionally at that event. Also, the mother and sisters of a 28yearold Georgia Woman named Amber Nicole Thurman whos a mom and medical assistant. She died because of Georgias Trump Abortion ban. Mrs. Thurman needed a medical procedure that has now been e effectively criminalized in georgia. A Georgia Hospital would not do that procedure for her until the infection that she had had advanced so far that it was impossible to save her life. Shes being called possibly the first woman to be killed by one of the Trump Abortion bans after the judges he appointed to the supreme court overturned rowe versus wade. Mrs. Thurmans family are bereaved by the loss of her life and they were there at the event. It was a very emotional thing. I dont think ive ever seen a president ial event quite like that but it was very touching. Kamala harris held an event with oprah, wisconsin where she just wrapped up an event tonight. Harris and trump right now are all within two or three points of each other. If not just outright tied. So the race is tied. The president ial race is tied. Nationally its tied in the Swing States its tied and that is clearly why Vice President Kamala Harris is campaigning her heart out. Three major Swing States all very high profile events. How are things going on the Trump Side of the campaign. Well, in contrast to Harris Jetting from michigan to georgia to wisconsin. Trump in this 24 Hour Period has kind of gone fellow today. No events, no travel, no appearances. I dont know what hes doing. That said, that may potentially be for the best for his campaign. I say that because the last event he did for his campaign was yesterday. And it produced headlines like this all day today. This was on Huffington Post. Don shocks, if i lose, blame the jews. Now i should say in fairness, in fairness, i need to note that this headline from our friends at Huffington Post is entirely accurate. You might think they are exaggerating with a headline like that, but theyre not. Heres what it looks at the drudge report. Trump, blame the jews if i lose. And in fairness for those who run the drudge report. This is actually what trump said. And he did it twice. It started at an event that was supposed to be Anti Semitism. Stick a pin on that amazing fact for just a moment. He stood up and said this. Im not going to call this a prediction but in my opinion the jewish people would have a lot to do with a loss. Meaning, they would have a lot to do with an Election Loss by him. That was the first event. Then he went to a second event the same night that night. And he said it again even more pointedly just in case people didnt get it the first time. He said at the second event, quote, if i dont win this election, the jewish people would really have a lot to do with that if it happens. These were not closed door events. These were not off the record events. This is him putting it on the record for the american people. Hey, if i lose the election, blame the jews. Im not going to call this as a prediction but, in my opinion, the jewish people would have a lot to do with a loss. If i dont win this electiOn And the jewish people would really have a lot to do with that if that happens. Right. I mean. What could possibly go wrong. Jews are like 2 of the american population. But according to the republican candidate for president and former president , if anything goes wrong in this next election for him, blame the jews. Itll be the jews fault. Jews are like, 2. 4 of the american population. Put it on them. As i mentioned, the first comments from him were at an event which was supposed to be an Anti Semitism event. What is Anti Semitism again. Most of the time its people saying, hey pay no attention to whos in charge because really its the jews in charge because its all them. Most of the time that is what Anti Semitism looks like. Which is exactly what trump is doing. Just just astonishing. Were 46 days out and the republican candidate for president is telling america if i lose, blame jewish people. That is really where we are in the campaign right now. And it turns out, its worse because this is not just a couple of comments at a couple of adjacent events. This is turning into kind of a Theme Week for them. Remember when he used to declare Infrastructure Week all the time and nothing ever happened. This is a different kind of week. We have trump saying twice, if i lose the election blame the jews. Within a day of that we also get the release of an interview that his Running Mate did with the rnc Prime Time speaker former host from the fox newschannel, who very famously just did a celebratory uncritical two Hour Fun fest interview with a Holocaust Denier. Where the two of them talked about how hitler was not to blame for World War ii. That they have to be understanding and that hitler was just finding for a solution, an acceptable solution to the jewish problem. Thats all he was doing. Why cant we be more understanding. He was just looking for an acceptable solution to the jewish problem. After the Rnc Speaker interviewed him for two hours as praised him as the best Public Historian in the country. His podcaster, his own pad cast, the Holocaust Denier guy went into Number One. And the famous god fathers of Holocaust Deniers all praised it. Said they wanted credit. Finally their words are getting out there. Number one podcast in the country on apple podcast. On the day the White House had to put out a denunciation of that guy and the fact that an rnc Prime Time speaker just did a laudatory two Hour Interview praising him, on the same day the White House had to put out their denunciation of that. Jd vance the republican nominee for Vice President , taped an interview with that same Rnc Speaker and Fox News Host who had just celebrated americas best Public Historian. As americas best Public Historian this Holocaust Denier guy. So now that Jd Vance Interview which was taped at that auspicious time has just come out. Great timing. Right in time for blame the jews day from his Running Mate. In that interview, which again has just come out j. D. Vance makes the case that we dont really have a democracy in this country. And, not we shouldnt have a democracy in the future. Its not making that argument. Although It Kind of is. What hes saying is we dont have a Democracy Now. And why is it that he thinks we dont have a Democracy Now . Because he says theres a secret powerful group who really controls things behind the scenes. So we should blame them. In reality, right now we dont live in a real democracy in in country right. The people who call the shots in this country have further and further divorced themselves from any kind of real democratic accountability, right. Its like a junior high School Class in how this stuff works. Why exactly do we always get like Holocaust Denial and weird blame the jews stuff going along with Anti Democratic movements and movements to end democracy and to install a strong man or fascist kind of government instead . Why do these things go together . Wouldnt you know it that specific idea also came up. So, if you guys win and you start Firing People who are acting against orders of their commander in chief and against the expressed will of voters the New York times will call it a fascist take over. Thats exactly right. The question is do you care . Well i think we have to not care. We have to not care. Yes, yes. What were going to do. Some people will call it a fascist take over. But thats not, you know, any concern to us. Its what were going to do. So were not going to care when they call it a fascist take over. Because after all our so called democracy is a sham any way. Would it really be so bad to give it up since we all know whos really in charge. Right and trump says you can blame them if he loses. I mean, this is the worse Theme Week ever. Trump did his blame the jews Thing Yesterday twice. And right after the yes its going to look like a fascist thing and who cares. Tomorrow j. D. Vance is going to do a live appearance with that same interviewer. A for profit ticketed event. And trump is going to go to North Carolina tomorrow. Where his campaign says he has no plans to distance himself from or denounce the candidate who trump supported. The man who described himself as a black nazi. Quote im a black nazi. The all capitals on the Word Nazi and Exclamation Point at The End are not my embellishments those are his. According to an online post. On an online post he said he preferred hitler to any politician. He is rejecting calls to quit the Governors Race in North Carolina. No republicans in the state appear to have denounced him for these specific posts in which he praises hitler and pronounced himself to be a nazi. No republican in the state sees a reason to move away from him and neither does trump. They are sticking with him. I told you this is the worse Theme Week ever. But it continues. Trump is standing by the guy who call himself a nazi and praises, hitler, praises mike humpf. Tonight were going to be talking to one of the democratic parties young rising stars. And North Carolina super interesting. Democrats dont win the race in North Carolina. Once in 1976 with Jimmy Carter and once in 2008 with Barack Obama. Thats it. But republicans do have this Guy Robinson at the top of the ticket. And Kamala Harris and the democrats right now are running a pretty phenomenal and innovative campaign in North Carolina. So as i mentioned were going to be checking in on that over the course of the this hour. As the republican implosion in that state continues to develop as a news story tonight. Were also going to be checking in tonight on georgia. Because its one thing to talk about how you know we dont really have a democracy. Democracy isnt real. Theres some secret kabal enemy within thats really in control. Elections are all a ruse and rigged game. Its one thing to talk about it and another to put it into action. S that is why for weeks weve been focused pretty intently for georgia. Thats why theyve been televising theyre going to refuse to certify Georgias Election results in november. Theyre going to refuse to say what the Vote Totals are. And it started in georgia as it did in many states with individual Protrump Republicans in the counties, refusing to certify individual Election Results. But in georgia, even though they had already got a pretty good Head Start on the rest of the country there were more certification refusals by Georgia Republicans than in any other state. Georgia went further when they installed protrump people as a majority in the State Election Board. Since that Protrump Majority has taken over on the georgia State Election Board. That board has furiously been changing all the States Election rules. Among other things, to make it seem like its a legal and allowed thing to refuse to certify Election Results. It is neither legal nor allowed. But these dynamics, and the worrying implications of them, this is why i wrote a New York times oped a few weeks ago, about what im most worried about on Election Night and after, i mean, we should really be prepared as a country. Regardless of where you live. Local republican elections officials in multiple states are going to refuse to sign off on Election Results and certify them. Its going to happen in georgia, its going to happen in other Swing States. Its going to happen all over the country any where republicans have power. When that happens when those republicans refuse to certify its going to generate tons of Bogus Press Reports and Social Media reports that are all designed to create the illusion that something went wrong with the election. That the results of the election somehow cant be known. And if we cant know the results of the election what does that mean . Well theres going to be some other way to resolve whos the next president. Well have to figure that out with State Legislatures or the congress. Or the courts. Or the streets. Because theyre going to say look theres no clear results. You know or at least there are republican officials contesting the results in all these distract places it must mean that something is wrong, right. And its all because the Trump Movement very broadly wants you to believe that american elections are bad. Right. Theyre not hiding this, they are very blunt about it now. Our elections are bad. Say it more bluntly. That was him at the debate. Our elections are bad. This is their basic message about the american system of government heading into the election a month and a half from now. And the way that looks in georgia is that republicans have been refusing to certify previous elections since 2020 and theyve been gearing up to not certify in november. In order to create the false impression that elections are somehow bad and theres no clear result. Were going to have to decide this some other way. Thats what ive been worried about and writing about and talking about and trying to raise the alarm for weeks now. Today they have gone one important step further. Because it is one way to try to convince people that there was something wrong with Election Results when there really wasnt anything wrong with our elections. To try to create the false impression that something is wrong with an election that actually was fine. Its something else entirely to actually mess with the election. To actually try to prevent the timely an normal tallying of the results. That is what happened today in tpwaa georgia. Tonight in a Marathon Meeting the new trump majority Election Board they passed a whole bunch of new rules. Yet more new rules. Today 46 days out from the election. Including one that requires a Hand Count of ballots. I mean, reminder here that georgia has 11 Million people. A quote here from the Washington Post Coverage of this Shock Decision Today in georgia. Quote, Democracy Advocates accuse the board of intentionally injecting Chaos And Uncertainty into the president ial contest. Election supervisors and Poll Workers said Hand Counts would take too long, Cost Money and most certainly create counting errors. They wrote the change was quote unlawful. Nevertheless, the board voted 3 2 to approve the measure. Quote Research And Practice have shown again and again that Hand Counting ballots is less accurate than machine tallies.
