Muhyiddin gets ad interim order to stop Puad Zarkashi republ

KUALA LUMPUR: The High Court has granted Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin an ad interim injunction to stop Datuk Dr Mohd Puad Zarkashi from republishing alleged defamatory statements over the quarantine order on Puad's Facebook page.
Muhyiddin’s lawyer Rosli Dahlan told the press that Justice Mohd Firuz Jaffril granted the ad interim order until the disposal of the inter parte hearing, which has been fixed for May 24.
"The injunction order is similar to the earlier ex-parte application (granted by the same court on March 1)," he said here on Friday (March 12).
The ex-parte injunction order lasts for 21 days, ending on March 21, after which the ad interim injunction would be effective.
