Article content On Tuesday, Suncor Energy Inc. and ATCO Ltd. announced they’re partnering to build a new hydrogen facility in Alberta’s Industrial Heartland that would produce 300,000 tonnes of hydrogen per year. The two companies intend to build the facility at ATCO’s Heartland Energy Centre in northern Strathcona County, subject to a final investment decision in 2024, with hopes of being operational by 2028.
