However, the hospital is defending its actions, saying that an individual’s choices have to be balanced against the protection of others in the continued fight against the deadly virus. Samantha Jordan told the DAILY NATION that last Thursday morning she took her two-year-old son to Sandy Crest Medical Centre in St James when he began wheezing. He was nebulised three times, she added, but appeared not to be getting better, and they were transferred to the QEH via ambulance.
