10:00 am: The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has asked the residents of Mumbai to boil water before drinking as the water purification complex at Bhandup was flooded due to the impact of heavy rains and had to be shut down. Due to this, there were no water spills in many parts of Mumbai. However, the services were restored on Sunday evening but BMC has appealed to residents to boil drinking water even after the restoration.
