Bombay high court MUMBAI: The civic administration says it will implement the door-to-door vaccination when the central government lays down a policy. On Wednesday the high court asked BMC to state its stand and for the civic chief or an additional municipal commissioner to apprise it on Thursday whether it is possible for the BMC to conduct a door-to-door vaccination in the city for the elderly and the disabled, despite the Centre’s disinclination to formulate door to door vaccination policy for elderly and disabled citizens. An affidavit filed by Mangala Gomare, executive health officer at BrihanMumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) said, "The central government is yet to come with policy for said 'Door-to-Door Vaccination'.’’ She added, "I say that these respondents have followed all guidelines issued by the central government as well as the state government of Maharashtra. Till today, there is no policy framed by the central government or any guidelines thereof have been
