Several parts of Mumbai, Thane and Navi Mumbai witnessed light showers in the morning. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on its website has predicted a partly cloudy sky with the possibility of light rain and drizzle for next 24 hours. Meanwhile, KS Hosalikar, head SID, Climate Research & Services, IMD Pune, said that in last 24 hours, Mumbai, Thane, Navi Mumbai and Palghar areas received light rain showers. He also said that these areas will witness a cloudy sky with light rain showers today.
