The Dolly Parton's Imagination Library Program ensures a child receives a book in the mail monthly. Severson was challenged by his cabinet to grow a beard for Dolly Parton's Imagination Library and convince others to make a pledge towards the cause. Soon, he, Stuart Jones, and Randy Lindquist began growing beards and have raised over $4,000 equating to 2,000 books.
