Nedap and Avitech Optimize the Parking Capacity in the City of Iasi

The city of Iasi in Romania has chosen Nedap and Avitech to improve on-street parking in their city center. The project is started to optimize the existing parking capacity in paid parking zones in the city center of Iasi and to reduce traffic congestion. Nedap’s smart parking sensors will be implemented to monitor, control and provide real-time parking data. Parking availability information on parking bays, disabled bays and EV charging bays is available for drivers to increase service and enable them to easily find a suitable free parking bay. Business partner Avitech integrates real-time occupancy data from SENSIT into its UPPARK Parking App to manage the parking spaces.
