Need to take decisive steps to stop COVID-19 second wave: PM Modi in meeting with CMs

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday interacted with the chief ministers of various states regarding the COVID-19 situation via video conferencing.
He expressed concern over a rise in COVID-19 cases in parts of the country and called for "quick and decisive" steps to check the "emerging second peak".
Addressing the CMs, PM Modi said that India has put up a strong fight against the Coronavirus so far, and it is being cited as an example in the world, asserting that the country's recovery rate is over 96 percent and fatality rate among the lowest. However, he expressed concern about the high test positivity rate in Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh.
