The Planning Applications Committee today confirmed the decision from their meeting in January - where permission for the development was refused. This was due to concerns over possible unexplored archaeology beneath the site, which heritage campaigners say could include a Neolithic remains.Andium Homes had purchased the site in 2017 with planning permission to build 253 homes, but subsequently proposed to deliver 122 homes on the site instead.
