New Castle couple held on dealing charges NEW CASTLE, Ind. — A New Castle couple were arrested for dealing drugs and other crimes after authorities captured a visitor at their home. Brent A. Whitaker, 38, and Brittney N. Whitaker, 36, were each charged Wednesday in Henry Circuit Court 2 with dealing in meth, dealing in a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance and possession of paraphernalia. They were being held in the Henry County jail on Thursday under $19,500 surety bonds and $2,300 cash bonds. The meth-dealing charges against them are Level 4 felonies carrying up to 12 years in prison. Members of the Henry County Area Drug Task Force went to the Whitaker home, in the 200 block of South 27th Street, on Tuesday afternoon to arrest Kourtnie Nunn, 23, who was the target of two warrants.
