Since publication of the first edition of

Investigative researchers have studied where fungicides reside in the turf profile and how long they will be effective. Basic fungicide resistance research has helped explain how fungicide-resistant strains arise and how long they can remain predominant. In addition, new products, including new SDHI and DMI fungicides, have changed the day-to-day practice of turf disease management.
