New Henry schools Learning and Support Center opens : vimars

McDONOUGH — Henry County Schools cut the ribbon, officially opening the new Learning and Support Center at the former Henry County Middle School.
The center is home to several district departments and programs designed to support the overall community, district leaders said.
“We are proud to officially introduce this game-changing facility and operations to our community,” said Superintendent Mary Elizabeth Davis. “When McDonough Middle School was opened and Henry County Middle School was no longer a facility for daily instruction for students, an engaged group of citizens and education leaders met to decide the best use of the facility and how it could meet the needs of the community. What we have now is the result of the vision and plans that were developed.”
