The district has hired Melanie Nowak as its new high school principal from a field of nearly 40 candidates, Superintendent Chris Timmis said. Nowak currently is the career and innovation coordinator for Farmington Public Schools, providing leadership of the district’s career technical programming. Prior to her time at Farmington, Nowak was the principal of multiple STEAM program buildings for Tecumseh Public Schools.
