New information released on missing teen from Denton The Dispatch The Davidson County Sheriff’s Office has released further information on the circumstances surrounding the disappearance of a 14-year-old girl from Denton last week. According to officials, the teen was engaged in online communications with an unknown male before she was reported as missing on Thursday. Savannah Grace Childress, 14, was last seen at 8:55 a.m. on Feb. 11 at 1164 Canaan Church Rd in Denton after she logged off of her virtual classroom through South Davidson Middle School. Childress is described as being 5 feet, 6 inches tall and weighing 135 pounds. She has straight brown hair and green eyes and was wearing a yellow Mickey Mouse hoodie and neon green Asic athletic style shoes.
