This makes it ₹1 lakh costlier than the BS4 model that used to cost ₹14 lakh (ex-showroom). The Japanese motorcycle maker had taken the wraps off the new Ninja ZX-10R in November last year. The motorcycle comes sporting a plethora of design changes and mechanical upgrades. It is also more feature-rich than the predecessor. Kawasaki had revealed the track-oriented ZX-10RR as well last year but we doubt if this motorcycle will go on sale here. According to Kawasaki, the new ZX-10R borrow elements and technology from the company's WorldSBK race machine. In case you didn't know, Kawasaki has been delivering championship performances in WSBK since 2013. So, it is safe to assume that using the racetrack experience on ZX-10R will have substantially improve the bike's performance.
