Four companies submitted bids for the construction of a fourth cell at the Brown County Landfill. No action will be taken until January. The bids opened at this weekâs commission meeting were from: Baranko Brothers of Dickenson, N.D.: $1.605 million. $1.695 million. $2.25 million. $2.48 million. One: Two: Drainage and sub-drainage work in the pallet area. Bids for Alternate 1 ranged from $281,307 to $356,041, with the lowest bid submitted by Baranko Brothers. Bids for Alternate 2 ranged from $87,583 to $192,986, with the lowest bid from B&B. The bids will be reviewed before action is taken. The countyâs project goes before the state Board of Water and Natural Resources for consideration of grant funding on Jan. 7.
