New 'little libraries' bring books to underserved kids

It's a little library, but the people who put it there Saturday hope it will be a big help to kids in Orlando.
A small library window filled with books was put up at the New Image Youth Center through a partnership with OUC. Sign up for our Newsletters
OUC has a task force called the "empowerment zone" and its focus is bringing equity, access and opportunity to Orlando's 32805 ZIP code.
"If they can get their hands on books they can get introduced to all of these words to improve their vocabulary so they're not acting out because they can't do the work," OUC's community partnerships manager Alandus Sims said.
