New Maitai Valley recreation hub to be a whole in one : vima

Nelson's Maitai Valley is set to gain a new $1million recreation hub, pitched as a destination for cyclists, walkers and families.
At a Nelson City Council meeting on Thursday, councillors voted unanimously to approve the Waahi Taakaro Golf Club as the location for the planned hub.
While the details of the design are still to be developed, the hub is expected to centre around the existing buildings at the golf club, while aiming to reduce the impact on the golf playing area.
