New market set to become a regular event Spread the love Farmers were privileged to display and sell their produce at the Jennings Playing Field – market-style. Agriculture Minister Samantha Marshall visited the venue and told Observer that she was pleased with the undertaking. “It is intended to be a staple event in this district. I know there are other extension officers who are looking at ensuring that they have a similar thing. “I saw farmers who came here to support their colleagues. We take it for granted, but this is something that is necessary,” Marshall said. The agriculture minister said she is also delighted that the community turned out in large numbers to support the farmers.
