TERRE HAUTE, IND. (WTWO/WAWV) – Indiana State University formed a partnership with Magnet Forensics and Paraben Corporation to help prepare their cybersecurity students.
The need for cybersecurity has become a more heightened issue over the last 15 years.
"This is an opportunity that not even all universities have," said Dr. Jason James, Instructor of Cybersecurity at Indiana State University. "We're one of the select few individuals that have a certain partnership like that."
According to cyber education company Cybint Solutions, 43% of cyber attacks target small businesses.
"Our students in return get the knowledge of expertise that comes from two great companies as well as that skill to prepare them for a career in cybersecurity," said James.
