Trying to conceive for over a decade, 38-year-old Deepali Dalvi was blessed with a twin pregnancy this year. However, in her 18th week, she discovered that one of the foetuses has a congenital heart defect. One heart chamber hasn’t fully developed and the child would probably need surgery at birth in May 2021. The chances of survival are unknown.
