Almost all non-governmental organisations (NGOs) operating in Ntcheu District are avoiding hard-to-reach areas, a study conducted by the NGO Board of Malawi has revealed. According to the study, which was conducted between November 2020 to January 2021, there are 31 NGOs in Ntcheu. NGO workshop And out of those NGOs, 25 are registered with the NGO Board of Malawi, a state-owned registrar and regulator of all NGOs and civil society organisations in the country. The study, according to NGO Board’s district service officer for Ntcheu Priyanka Jere, involved interactions with Area Development Committee (ADC) members, Traditional Authorities (TAs), secretaries to TAs, ADC chairpersons and secretaries.
