NGT issues notice to 36 States, UTs over vacancies in pollut

The Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) had filed a report in the matter before the NGT last week, which noted that out of a sanctioned strength of 11,969 positions in State PCBs and PCCs, 6,092 positions were vacant.
