A 44-year-old Niles man is facing charges of accosting a minor for immoral purposes and using a computer to commit a felony. Berrien County Prosecutor Steve Pierangeli says Patrick Stier contacted who he thought was a 14-year-old girl on the Kik phone app and through text messaging on April 2. Pierangeli says the investigation showed the communication was sexual. Stier faces up to 10 years in prison if he’s found guilty. No court dates have been set yet.
