'Animal Crossing' activities inspired by the Milwaukee Public Museum, and a few more cool things to do from home

When the COVID-19 pandemic arrived last March, museums, libraries, nature centers and other family-friendly venues had to close to the public. Many got creative by offering a variety of virtual tours, workshops and activities through their websites and social media accounts.
Although a lot of us have gotten sick of virtual activities, the state of the pandemic still dictates that the safest place is home. And that means we need things to entertain our kids.
