The crash happened around 6 p.m., as troopers responded to a report of a plan that ran off the runway and flipped over. The small private plane, which was being flown by a 61-year-old student pilot with his 69-year-old instructor onboard, had engine trouble about a mile after takeoff. When trying to land, the plane went off the runway and flipped over.
