Slim pickings: Parents are travelling as far as they possibly can to look for school textbooks for their children. Many are complaining that shops have no stock of the books they need. — LOW LAY PHON/The Star PETALING JAYA: The new school year has begun but there is a lack of school textbooks being sold in bookshops. Parents are frustrated as their children are facing difficulty following their lessons. The problem is not new. It has been going on for several years. However, this year, the situation has been made worse as parents cannot travel beyond the 10km radius to buy the books from other districts due to the movement control order.
