NOIDA: The Noida Federation of Apartment Owners Associations (NOFAA) have written to the Noida Authority CEO demanding CCTV camera surveillance in sectors which do not have security boundary walls or have pockets which are isolated or ill-lit for safety and security of residents. Some of these sectors include sectors 50, 61, 7x, 137 etc. “With regard to safety and security concerns in Noida, we have raised the concerns to Ritu Maheshwari CEO Noida Authority that several sectors which do not have security boundary walls, often face law and order related issues. Especially in pockets, which are isolated and are less lit. It becomes an easy target for chain and mobile snatchers and other anti-social activities. This has scaled more during the pandemic era. We have therefore requested from CEO Noida for CCTV camera surveillance in such sectors to ensure that such sectors are secured. We may identify such sectors by way of a priority list. This can be done in a phased manner,” said Rajiv Singh president NOFAA.
