Not coaches, but ‘engine’ needs to change: Patole ByVijay ChavanVijay Chavan / Updated: Jul 10, 2021, 06:34 IST State Congress president Nana Patole (in pic), who launched a state-wide 10-day long ‘bicycle agitation’ against rising fuel prices in the city on Friday, termed the Union Cabinet reshuffle this week as mere eyewash intended to hide the failures of the government in the past seven years. In his own style, he criticised Prime Minister Narendra Modi, saying instead of changing coaches, there was a desperate need to change the ‘engine’ of the government. Patole, while addressing media persons, claimed that the Cabinet shake-up clearly indicates that the PM is now feeling shaken ahead of the 2024 Lok Sabha polls, so they may resort to any face-saving trick to divert public attention. He also announced that they will continue their fuel protest till July 17.
