Western Regional Secretary of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mr Charles Onua Wontor Bissue says his party stands the chance to stay in government for a long time due to the outcome of 2020 general election results.
Describing the just-ended 2020 general elections as a shocking revelation, the Presidential Staffer said his party losing many Parliamentary seats to the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) is a wakeup call for all and sundry.
Using the Western Region Parliamentary election results as a case study, he mentioned that the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) which used to have 13 seats out of the 17 seats in the 2016 elections is now down with 9 seats and the opposition NDC moving from 4 to 8 seats.
