Nurses vow to continue strike until MoU signed

Kenya National Union of Nurses Deputy General Secretary Maurice Opetu addresses media on the ongoing strike that is in its 36th day at their offices in Nairobi. [David Gichuru,Standard]
The Kenya National Union of Nurses (KNUN) has advised its members to stay put as their strike over poor working conditions heads to its 40th day.
Even though the union had a sitting with the Ministry of Health and reached an agreement on December 31, 2020, the government’s commitment in signing is the missing link in the stalemate that has crippled the health sector.
