Nutanix CEO Rajiv Ramaswami told Insider his strategy to spur growth and profitability at the firm. Nutanix reduced 2.5% of its workforce within sales and marketing since he took over. He's also focusing on cost management by transitioning to a software subscription model. Rajiv Ramaswami, the CEO of $6.5 billion enterprise cloud firm Nutanix, is laser-focused on financial discipline, he tells Insider. Since Ramaswami joined the company as CEO last December, Nutanix has laid off 2.5% of its global workforce in sales and marketing, he said during the company's third quarter earnings report on Wednesday. The firm currently has around 6,000 employees.
