(Staten Island Advance) Facebook Share STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — The New York Public Library (NYPL) is launching expanded service across its locations — rolling out computer reservations and limited browsing at select grab-and-go branches. The expanded services come as the NYPL works to slowly open its branches after shuttering in March 2020 to prevent the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19). In addition to a robust suite of virtual programs and resources, including e-books, online storytimes, virtual book clubs, and remote homework help, resume assistance, and job search help, the libraries began offering grab-and-go book pickup and on-site library card sign-up in July 2020.
