1:05 KLCC's Elizabeth Gabriel reports on next steps in the investigation into the Oakridge School District's superintendent. The investigation was initiated after an Oakridge parent petitioned for Superintendent Reta Doland’s removal due to accusations of poor staff working conditions and communication, as well as other offenses. But Investigator Rob Saxton determined the superintendent’s removal is not warranted. During the last board meeting a parent asked why the board had not addressed the Oakridge Teacher’s Association’s vote of no confidence for the superintendent. The results of the vote taken in Dec. show that 90% of certified staff lack confidence in Doland’s leadership.
