BHUBANESWAR: With an aim for expeditious issuance of various certificates to citizens and to bring transformational changes in the system, the state government on Tuesday issued revised set of guidelines.
As per the guidelines issued by state revenue secretary Bishnupada Sethi, certificates like resident, asset and income, which are presently issued within 15 days, will now be issued delivered within 10 days of receiving the application by the tehsil offices.
While it take 30 days at present for issuance of caste certificates like scheduled caste, scheduled tribe, socially educationally backward classes and other backward classes, the revised guidelines said caste certificates will now be issued within 15 days of application.
