Credit Morehead State University Morehead State’s Office of Communications and Marketing (OCM) won a gold award in the Eighth Annual Education and Digital Marketing Awards for the Student Orientation and Registration (SOAR) Online microsite. Typically, SOAR is an in-person, on-campus event, but was converted to a virtual platform due to the COVID-19 pandemic. SOAR allows incoming first-year students to learn more about their academic fields of interest, take a campus tour, register for their first-semester classes and interact with current MSU students, faculty and staff. “I’m proud of the quality of work the staff in Communications and Marketing consistently produces in representing Morehead State University. This award recognizes the strength of their work and only further validates the professionalism and creativity the staff brings to MSU.
