Official: “Everything possible” in cause of fire DUNDEE -- Fire investigators continued sifting through rubble at a Dundee apartment complex where a weekend blaze claimed the life of a tenant and caused heavy damage to several units. Dundee Police Chief Kent Jeppesen reported the fire appeared to have started in the area of the living room and balcony of a second-floor apartment occupied by Sean Johnson, 43. He died from injuries suffered in the fire. Jeppesen said The Monroe County Fire Investigation Team is working on the cause and origin of the fire that ignited around 4:30 a.m. Sunday at the Village Pointe Apartments on Rawson St. Although there are no indications that foul play was involved, Jeppesen said nothing has been ruled out.
