The fire — which was in the area of the Franklin Avenue and Shultas Place intersection — had been “knocked down” by 5:12 p.m., according to a social media post from the Hartford Fire Department. But at the time of the post Sunday evening, firefighters were “still operating, performing salvage and overhaul. “No civilian or firefighter injuries reported at this time,” the post read. The fire marshal’s office is investigating the blaze. Additionally, the “Special Services Unit will be working with the American Red Cross to assist any families that may be displaced,” the post read.
