Allan Vis, councillor for Oliver Paipoonge (centre). (YouTube) OLIVER PAIPOONGE – An Oliver Paipoonge councillor is in hot water after questioning the need for a Day of Action versus Anti-Asian Racism and asking when there might be a day for White people. Allan Vis was the lone dissenting vote when the motion was brought up at a recent town council meeting. “I’m opposed to that,” Vis said. “When are we going to declare a day for White people? Everybody wants to have a day and I think we’ve had enough days, so I’m not in favour of that.”
