OMB headquarters in Quezon City still physically closed until May 14 – Manila Bulletin

The Office of the Ombudsman (OMB) in Quezon City will still be physically closed until May 14.
Ombudsman Samuel R. Matires on Sunday, May 2, said the closure is “in view of the extended Modified Enhanced Community Quarantine (MECQ) status of the National Capital Region until 14 May 2021.”
“However, the Office shall continue to adopt the alternative work-from-home arrangement permissible under civil service rules and the attendance of Ombudsman Prosecutors in virtual court hearings,” Martires said.
While the offices are physically closed, the OMB advised the public that “the reglementary period for the filing of pleadings, motions, affidavits and other relevant documents before the Office of the Ombudsman, Quezon City shall be DEEMED INTERRUPTED, and the period of the filing of such shall begin to run again when the Office is physically opened.”
