A Connecticut man was killed and three others seriously injured during a single-vehicle crash. Blanchard Baisden, age 39, of East Hartford, was killed around 12:27 a.m., Sunday, April 25, during a crash in the area of Fraser Pace in Hartford, said Lt. Aaron Boisvert of the Hartford Police. According to Boisvert, when officers arrived on the scene they found a gray 2003 Nissan Pathfinder had crashed into the rear end of a parked, unoccupied, semi-tractor trailer. Baisden, the driver, was pronounced dead on the scene, he said. A 36-year-old female passenger was transported to Hartford Hospital with potentially life-threatening injuries. Two additional passengers of the Nissan, a 38-year-old male, and a 39-year-old male were transported to the Saint Francis Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
