The victim's identity was not immediately released. North Hampton Fire Chief Jason Lajoie said emergency rescue crews were called at about 3:45 a.m. "North Hampton Fire and Rescue received a report of a structure fire at 20 Woodknoll Drive and the first arriving engine company on the scene found heavy fire on the building, as well as one of the occupants was outside the building," Lajoie said. Lajoie said they were able to quickly locate the victim inside and they were able to pull them out. "Unfortunately, that victim did perish," Lajoie said. Firefighters performed a second search to make sure there were no other additional victims.
