One wounded in stabbing on Beach Front Drive in East El Paso

El Paso police are investigating a stabbing that sent a person to the hospital Sunday evening on the East Side.
The stabbing occurred shortly after 5 p.m. in the 11000 block of Beach Front Drive near George Dieter Drive, police said.
A male was transported to a hospital with what police described as injuries that were not life threatening. The wounded person's name was not released.
