This time last year the crowd was huge and people were ready to use the new facility, but the pandemic changed so much. "See this place so busy with so many people, is like yes!" said former Austin City Council member, Laura Helle last year at the grand opening. It was a feeling of excitement all around for people in Austin just one year ago when the community Recreation Center opened.
