Skidompha Library’s Chats with Champions will feature acclaimed television producer, author, and humanitarian John Marshall at 10 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 11.
Marshall is a nine-time Emmy Award-winning television producer. He is the creator of the immensely popular Instagram page Sunset Selfies that features his cardboard cutouts against the setting sun. Marshall created his first Sunset Selfie on Frye Island in 2015, cutting a beer box into an alligator, donning it on his head, and taking a timed photograph. From then until now, Marshall has added captions, both enhancing the photos and revealing the cartoonist he dreamed of becoming when he was a boy.
