I think we've all done it a time or two. We've mistaken the gas pedal for the brake pedal and it looks like a Richland Driver did just that last night. A single-vehicle accident sent a truck smashing head-first into a Richland business. The accident happened last night on 1/12/21 as Richland Police were called to a single-vehicle accident crash on George Washington Way. The driver of a white truck hit the gas when they should've hit the brake and that sent the truck smashing into Amber Rose Consignment Store in the Uptown Mall. Richland Police were called out to investigate and discovered that the driver of the vehicle inadvertently accelerated after parking in front of the business.
